was so excited when i finally received my blu energy x phone comes in a very nice white box everything nice and snug very well protected. upon opening it you will see your beautifully new phone laying in its protective tray after removing the phone and the tray you will notice accessories in the bottom of the box such as : 1 usb charging cord/ data transfer cable, 1 wall charger head, 1 screen protector, 1 set of blu head phones and 1 case. after pealing the cover sticker off the screen and turning it on you will see very bright and beautiful clear 5 inch screen best screen i have seen on any phone thats under 120 dollars. setting up your phone is easy and painless very simple once you get to the main screen you can truly take in how premium this phone looks and feels colors pop and you can look at it from all sides and it wont look boring and washed out. i love holding this phone it just amazes me that it feels so overwhelmingly sweet and satisfying in the hand. the back pops off and has 3 slots 1 micro sd card slot and 2 micro sim card slots. after sliding mine in which if your wondering is t-mobile the phone recognized it right away and a 4G symbol appeared over the network bars after getting all that set up i decided to try out the call quality the person i tried it on said they could hear me pretty clearly and i for sure could hear them nice and clear the ear speaker also gets nice n loud. speaking of speakers it was a bit concerning to me that this ones was placed on the back but it does the job pretty well as long as you don't cover it doesn't sound muffled at all unless you have it set to max volume. before installing any apps i had 4GB free of internal storage after updating all the system apps n removing the very little bloat where i was down to 3GB of free internal storage which works fine for me seeing as i don't use a lot of apps this phone can handle multi tasking pretty well even though its only 1GB ram it tackles most if not all things you throw its way although i do not play a lot of games. my daily use is instagram/ facebook / youtube/ texting/ couple calls here and their. my favorite thing about this phone is the battery love the battery life on the blu energy x on heavy use you can make it a day and a half on barely any use 2-3 days also does not take to long to charge hour or so and you pretty much have full battery. if you plan to use your phone immensely but hate having to plug it in all the time this is the phone for you. camera is pretty decent but once again this is a 120 dollar phone(after tax) and you cant really argue about what you get for the price tag i have included some pictures of my cat i took with the camera so you can see the quality and see if its decent enough for you to consider this phone for yourself. i feel like this is a great first phone or budget phone or a temporary replacement phone if yours breaks you get more then enough bang for your buck.

- This Blue Energy X smartphone runs the Android Lollipop v5.1 operating system out of the box. For existing Android users, this phone offers your typical smartphone options and functions. The 5 inch screen is on par with various other models available with the Android OS and falls roughly half way between the two sizes available from Apple. While the display can certainly be considered HD, I was able to compare the home screens side-by-side with my sister’s iPhone 6 and noted that the picture resolution is not quite as crisp.

I have used the phone for a few days now and find that the battery holds a charge well throughout the day. Typically, I charge my phone overnight and need it to last all of the next day for phone calls, text messages, games, and some video streaming. I encountered no problems with this phone and had a fourth of the battery or so to spare. To preserve battery life, I keep my phone on the middle brightness level and try to routinely close apps left running in the background.

In terms of the external design of the phone, a couple of points are worth mentioning—although in general term there's nothing particularly unique about this model. The lock and volume buttons are located on the right side of the phone, and the power/USB cord port is on the bottom. The camera, flash bulb, and headphone jack are all located at the top of the phone. I found the volume and lock buttons to be comfortable to use, but they are somewhat awkward if you take advantage of the included flexible plastic case.

One design element I do not like is the placement of the primary speaker. It is a thin bar located just below the middle on the back of the phone. I find that although the volume is good when held, it is considerably muffled when set down on a table. I suggest especially that if you plan on using the alarm clock function on this phone as I often do, you should leave the phone on the bed side table upside down to be sure you can hear it. However, I would have to say that the phone design is pretty good. It is comfortable to hold with smooth edges on the back, and the Gorilla Glass display gives me confidence that even with just using the included case, the phone can stand up to wear and tear from everyday use. There is nothing about this phone that really jumps out at you to make you think it is a “must have” device, but if you want a good Android phone this is definitely a model to consider.
