I use my staple gun 4-5 times per year. Mostly for DYI projects around the house. I threw out my last two staple guns because they jammed every other staple. This one doesn't jam and I like it. Being a female, my hand strength isn't all that great. Would have like this gun to take less strength to use and the trigger to be closer to the gun. It's obviously designed for a man's hand and strength. Would be nice if some company would make a study, easy to use, non-jamming staple gun designed for women. There are lots of us out there who buy it.

Well constructed and works well. However, anyone with black friday laptop deals small to medium-sized hands will not find this stapler easy to use. A small-handed person may not be able to use it at all. Curiously, in the one-page "manual," the high-low feature gets a one-sentence uninformative description in English, but a lengthy, detailed explanation in Spanish and French. Try before purchasing if possible.

I got this as a replacement for 2 other Stanley staple guns that were NOT working that well. This one put the staples where I wanted them MOST of the time. Even though I used only the recommended types of staples, jams and misfires were an issue. Hanging insulation, especially on the ceiling is a bit difficult if the staples don't get popped into the wood...and a bit annoying when they need to be tapped in with a hammer 'cause they aren't seated all the way. In any case, I haven't found a staple gun that really works great ALL the time...this one is just OK.

This stapler is very weak. I bought this for one specific job and it doesn't have the power to drive 3/8 or even 1/4 inch staples into my work. The job was to install a new vinyl seat cover onto an atv which has a soft plastic frame. I tried it on some wood and it didn't have enough power to drive the staple flush even on soft pine wood.. I noticed from the very first pull it just doesn't have much driving force. The high low setting is more like weak or very weak. should be fine if you are dealing with very soft woods for light crafts and short staples. I can't imagine this having enough power to drive 1/2 inch staples into anything more dense than cardboard. I am going to return this and look for a more powerful one. If it is easy to pull, it isn't going to have much power. This should not be called heavy duty. It is worthless to me for any job I use a staple gun for. I rarely write bad reviews but this was very disappointing. I should note that other than the fact it is low on power everything else about it is nice. Easy to load the staples, doesn't jam. Simple design. Lightweight.

- This thing is all sorts of fun. Lol! I bought a sign from iphone 6s black Friday a local artist and upon returning home the rope it hangs from instantly came loose from the top plank of wood. I bought this staple gun to fix it. Beware: it's POWERFUL. I mean, the "KERTHUNK!" it gave when I put the first staple in took me off guard. No, I'd never used one before (I know, I gotta get out more). But it worked like a charm! Great product, just keep it away from your kids!
