This a 5-pack of Home Depot carpenter's marking pencils, each with a rectangular shaped solid black graphite composite pigment core, and made with a 100% wood (Forest Stewardship Council C006583) protective casing that prevents the core from breaking and has an octangular (8-sided) shape with two larger flat sides so it will not roll. It has a smooth exterior finish that is comfortable to hold with a bright orange color that is easy to visually spot in a cluttered workspace. Made in the United States of America.

These are a hard lead pencil from Home Depot that hold up very well. The lead stays together and is durable. Just for kicks I sharpened one and stabbed it through 5/8" drywall about 6 times and the tip was still sharp and intact.

Do yourself a favour though and buy these at the Home Depot for $0.18 each and not here on Amazon from this buyer. They are a rip off at $7.48 for only 5 pencils.
